The body of a US woman who went missing in Turkey last month has been found in Istanbul.
Sarai Sierra went missing on January 21, just before she was due to fly home to New York.
Police say her body was found near the Galata Bridge in Istanbul, not far from the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia and other popular tourist attractions.
Reports suggest that she may have been stabbed to death, although authorities have not confirmed the cause of death.
The 33-year-old American was approaching the end of a two-week visit to Turkey when she disappeared. During that time, she is also believed to have made trips to Germany and the Netherlands.
Turkish police said nine people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
